Office Action

§101
DETAILED ACTION Notice of Pre-AIA or AIA Status The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA . Specification The disclosure is objected to because of the following informalities: the Specification filed on 08/21/2025, page 1, paragraph [0001], there is missing a new U.S. Patent No. 12,431,002. Appropriate correction is required. Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 101 35 U.S.C. 101 reads as follows: Whoever invents or discovers any new and useful process, machine, manufacture, or composition of matter, or any new and useful improvement thereof, may obtain a patent therefor, subject to the conditions and requirements of this title. Claims 1-8 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 101 because the claimed invention is directed to a judicial exception (i.e., a law of nature, a natural phenomenon, or an abstract idea) without significantly more. Claims 1, 3, 4, 6 and 8 are directed to “a memory configured to store computer-executable instructions; and one or more processors configured to access the memory and execute the computer-executable instructions to at least:”. The claims do not include additional elements that are sufficient to amount to significantly more than the judiciary exception because the generally cited computer elements do not add a meaningful limitation to the abstract idea because they would be routine in any computer implementation. Please also note that much of the language following certain terms, such as “for remedying”, “for preventing”, “for implementing”, “to determine”, or “to perform”, would be interpreted as intended use. Additionally, the term “computer-readable medium” is normally preferred to be listed as a “non-transitory computer-readable medium”, so that it would clearly be identified as a tangible device or tangible computer or tangible processor. Conclusion The prior art made of record and not relied upon is considered pertinent to applicant's disclosure. Sakoda et al discloses in the wireless communication system according to the present invention, no coordinators are especially disposed. Each communication station informs of beacon information and thereby let the other neighboring communication stations (i.e. within a communication area) its own existence. Each communication station notifies the other communication station of a network configuration. Moreover, a communication station to anew enter a communication area of a certain communication station can detect a rush into the communication area, for example, by receiving a beacon signal, and can know a network configuration by decoding information recorded in the beacon. [US 2005/0243782] Suzuki et al discloses the navigation device for a route guidance includes: a GPS unit that acquires information about the current location by performing a communication with a global positioning system (GPS); a navigation-information acquiring unit that acquires map data and route data from a navigation server in a network; a guidance controller that performs the route guidance based on the information; a GPS-communication controller that cuts off the communication with the GPS when the information is not acquired; and a server-communication controller that cuts of a communication with the navigation server when the information is not acquired. [US 2006/0089797] Mura et al discloses in the communication processing system and the communication processing method, the mobile terminal is configured, after executing the connection processing and the obtaining processing upon receiving the first beacon, not to execute the obtaining processing upon further receiving the first beacon before completing the obtaining processing and transmitting a disconnection request to be disconnected from the communication device thereto, and to execute the same obtaining processing upon receiving the second beacon. [US 2021/0204335] Any inquiry concerning this communication or earlier communications from number is (571) 272-2972. The examiner can normally be reached on Mon-Fri from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. If attempts to reach the examiner by telephone are unsuccessful, the examiner's supervisor, Mr. Wang Quan-Zhen can be reached on (571) 272-3114. Examiner interviews are available via telephone, and video conferencing using a USPTO supplied web-based collaboration tool. To schedule an interview, applicant is encouraged to use the USPTO Automated Interview Request (AIR) at http://www.uspto.gov/interviewpractice. Information regarding the status of an application may be obtained from the Patent Application Information Retrieval (PAIR) system. Status information for published applications may be obtained from either Private PAIR or Public PAIR. Status information for unpublished applications is available through Private PAIR only.
