Claim(s) 1, 3, 4, and 10 is/are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(1) as being anticipated by Mizuno et al (US 20040147179). Mizuno et al discloses a throttle actuator comprising: a base (208); a carrier (244); a circuit board (240) coupled between the base (208) and the carrier (244), said circuit board (240) comprising one or more force sensors (216, 218’) and a temperature compensation circuit (266) configured to condition an output of the one or more force sensors (218). Re claim 3, the one or more force sensors include a first force sensor (216) and a second force sensor (218’). Re claim 4, the temperature compensation sensor (266) is configured to linearize an output of the one or more force sensors (216, 218’). Re claim 10, the temperature sensor (266) is connected to the processor and the processor is configured to operate the one or more heaters based on an output of the temperature sensor (266). Allowable Subject Matter Claims 18-20 are allowed. Claims 2, 5-9, and 11-17 are objected to as being dependent upon a rejected base claim but would be allowable if rewritten in independent form including all of the limitations of the base claim and any intervening claims.
