Notice of Pre-AIA or AIA Status The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA . Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102 The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action: A person shall be entitled to a patent unless – (a)(2) the claimed invention was described in a patent issued under section 151, or in an application for patent published or deemed published under section 122(b), in which the patent or application, as the case may be, names another inventor and was effectively filed before the effective filing date of the claimed invention. Claim(s) 1, 8 and 9 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(2) as being anticipated by Sung et al. US 2020/0176539. As to claim 1, Sung, referring to figures 1, 4, and 7-8, teaches a display device (see Fig 4, ¶101) comprising; a display panel (10, see ¶101) comprising a substrate (100, see ¶166), a beam shielding member (a shield layer 221M, see ¶201) disposed on the substrate, and a transistor (TFT, see ¶175, Fig 9) comprising an oxide semiconductor (see ¶176, Fig 9) disposed on the beam shielding member (221M, Fig 9); a touch panel on the display panel (see ¶82); and a black matrix on the touch panel (see ¶82), a display area (DA) including an opening area (OA) and a non-display area (NDA) surrounding the opening area (OA) (see Figs 1, 4 and 7- 8, and ¶157 for a non-display area NDA surrounding an opening area OP ); wherein the non-display area comprises a plurality of conductive lines disposed in different layers. ( [0195] data lines DL are alternately arranged in two layers in the first-second non-display area NDA1 with the intervening insulating layers 205, 207, 209. [0196] The scan lines SL are arranged on layers different from the layer of the data lines DL. See Fig 8. ) PNG media_image1.png 367 674 media_image1.png Greyscale As to claim 8, Sung teaches the display device of claim 1, wherein a window disposed on the black matrix comprise the window under the camera module (a window, the black matrix, and a camera 20, see ¶82, ¶ 93, ¶89, Figs 1-3). As to claim 9, Sung teaches the display device of claim 1, wherein the non-display area surrounds an opening area disposed in the display area ( a first-second non-display area NDA1-3 surrounding an opening area O1. See Fig 7, ¶157 ). Allowable Subject Matter Claims 2-7 and 10-20 are objected to as being dependent upon a rejected base claim, but would be allowable if rewritten in independent form including all of the limitations of the base claim and any intervening claims.
