Detailed Action
Acknowledgement of Election
Applicant’s response filed on 8 September 2026 and the election without traverse of Group II (Embodiment 3, Original Fig. 3.1-3.8) is acknowledged.
Group I (Embodiments 1 & 2) has been withdrawn from further consideration by the examiner, 37 CFR 1.142(b), as being for the nonelected design.
Objection to the Drawings
Pursuant to the election, Fig. 1.1 – 2.8 must be canceled as being part of the nonelected design.
Objection to the Specification
Pursuant to the election, the descriptions of Fig. 1.1 – 2.8 must be canceled from the specification, both in the line-by-line descriptions and in the descriptive paragraph.
Claim Rejection - 35 U.S.C. §112 (a)&(b)
The claim is rejected under 35 U.S.C. 112 (a)&(b), as the claimed invention is not described in such full, clear, concise and exact terms as to enable any person skilled in the art to make and use the same, and fails to particularly point out and distinctly claim the subject matter which the inventor or a joint inventor regards as the invention.
The claim is indefinite and non-enabling for the following reasons:
1. Features of the design illustrated with broken line are not clearly shown. Some portions appear as if they are solid line. This issue is present in all figures with broken lines; the Examiner has provided two examples below. To overcome this rejection, the Applicant should illustrate the broken lines with higher fidelity.
