DETAILED ACTION Notice of Pre-AIA or AIA Status The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA . Election/Restrictions Applicant’s election without traverse of Species 1 in the reply filed on 8/22/25 is acknowledged. Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102 The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action: A person shall be entitled to a patent unless – (a)(2) the claimed invention was described in a patent issued under section 151, or in an application for patent published or deemed published under section 122(b), in which the patent or application, as the case may be, names another inventor and was effectively filed before the effective filing date of the claimed invention. Claim(s) 1-5, 17-19 is/are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(2) as being anticipated by Tseng et al (US 2023/0169916). 1. A display panel, comprising: a substrate (Fig.1 (100- display panel) and[0022]); and a plurality of display units (LED/OLED- not shown; see [0027]) located on a side of the substrate (Fig.1 (100- display panel) and [0022]), wherein each of the plurality of display units (LED/OLED- not shown; see [0027]) comprises a plurality of light-emitting elements (Fig.1 (P-pixels) and [0022]), the plurality of light-emitting elements (Fig.1 (P-pixels) and [0022]) comprises main light-emitting elements (Fig.1 (10- main sub-pixel) and [0022]) and backup light-emitting elements (Fig.1 (20-backup sub-pixel) and [0022]), and a number of the main light-emitting elements (Fig.1 (10- the number is 3) and [0024]) is greater than a number of the backup light-emitting elements (Fig.1 (20- the number is 1) and [0024]) and see also [0022-0024]; and the main light-emitting elements (Fig.1 (10- main sub-pixel) and [0022]) are arranged in a first direction (Fig.1 (D1) and [0024]) , one of the backup light-emitting elements (Fig.1 (20-backup sub-pixel) and [0022]) is located between two main light-emitting elements (Fig.1 (10- main sub-pixel) and [0022]) of the main light-emitting elements (Fig.1 (10- main sub-pixel) and [0022]) in a second direction (Fig.1 (D2) and [0024]), and in the second direction (Fig.1 (D2) and [0024]), at least two of the main light-emitting elements (Fig.1 (10- main sub-pixel) and [0022]) are disposed adjacent to each other (Fig.1 and [0022-0024]). 2. The display panel according to claim 1, wherein when a dead pixel (failed main sub-pixel [0034]- not shown but described -see Abstract and [0022-0024]) appears in a main light-emitting element (Fig.1 (10- main sub-pixel) and [0022]) of the main light-emitting elements (Fig.1 (10- main sub-pixel) and [0022]), a backup light-emitting element (Fig.1 (20-backup sub-pixel) and [0022]) adjacent to the main light-emitting element (Fig.1 (10- main sub-pixel) and [0022])in which the dead pixel (failed main sub-pixel- not shown but described -see Abstract and [0022-0024]) appears emits light, or at least two of the backup light-emitting elements (Fig.1 (20-backup sub-pixel) and [0022]) within a preset radius [0020-0024] centered on the main light-emitting element (Fig.1 (10- main sub-pixel) and [0022]) in which the dead pixel (failed main sub-pixel [0034]- not shown but described -see Abstract and [0022-0024]) appears emit light (Abstract and [0022-0024/0034-0035]. 3. The display panel according to claim 2, wherein the at least two backup light-emitting elements (Fig.1 (20-backup sub-pixel) and [0022]) within the preset radius [0020-0024] centered on the one main light-emitting element (Fig.1 (10- main sub-pixel) and [0022]) in which the dead pixel (failed main sub-pixel- not shown but described -see Abstract and [0022-0024]) appears are disposed symmetrically with respect to an axis of the main light-emitting element (Fig.1 (10- main sub-pixel) and [0022])in which the dead pixel (failed main sub-pixel- not shown but described -see Abstract and [0022-0024/0034-0035])appears. 4. The display panel according to claim 1, wherein each of the plurality of display units (LED/OLED- not shown; see [0027]) comprises main light-emitting elements (Fig.1 (10- main sub-pixel) and [0022]) having three different emitted colors ([0024-red/green/blue]), and at least part of the plurality of display units (LED/OLED- not shown; see [0027]) comprise backup light-emitting elements (Fig.1 (20-backup sub-pixel) and [0022]) having at most two different emitted colors [0029-0030], and wherein an emitted color of a backup light-emitting element (Fig.1 and 4 (20-backup sub-pixel) and [0022]) of the at most two backup light-emitting elements (Fig.1 and 4 (20-backup sub-pixel) and [0022- see also 0026]]) is the same as an emitted color [ 0039/0029-0030] of a main light-emitting element (Fig.1 (10- main sub-pixel) and [0022]) of the three main light-emitting elements (Fig.1 (10- main sub-pixel) and [0022] see also [0026]), and two adjacent display units of the plurality of display units (LED/OLED- not shown; see [0027]) comprise backup light-emitting elements (Fig.1 (20-backup sub-pixel) and [0022]) of the backup light-emitting elements (Fig.1 (20-backup sub-pixel) and [0022]) having three different emitted colors [0039/ 0029-0030]. 5. The display panel according to claim 4, wherein the main light-emitting elements (Fig.1 (10- main sub-pixel) and [0022]) comprise red main light-emitting elements (Fig.1 and 4 (10 (12) and [0024]), green main light-emitting elements (Fig.1 and 4 (10(14)) and [0024]), and blue main light-emitting elements (Fig.1 and 4 (10 (16) and [0024]), and the backup light-emitting elements (Fig.1 and 4 (20) and [0039]) comprise red backup light-emitting elements (Fig.1 and 4 (20) and [0039]), green backup light-emitting elements(Fig.1 and 4 (20) and [0039]), and blue backup light-emitting elements (Fig.1 and 4 (20) and [0039]); each display unit (LED/OLED- not shown; see [0027]) comprises one of the red main light-emitting elements (Fig.1 and 4 (10 (12) and [0024]), one of the green main light-emitting elements (Fig.1 and 4 (10(14)) and [0024]), one of the blue main light-emitting elements (Fig.1 and 4 (10 (16) and [0024]), and one or two of one of the red backup light-emitting elements (Fig.1 and 4 (20) and [0039]), one of the green backup light-emitting elements(Fig.1 and 4 (20) and [0039]), and one of the blue backup light-emitting elements (Fig.1 and 4 (20) and [0039]); and in the first direction (Fig.1 (D1) and [0024]), the main light-emitting elements (Fig.1 (10- main sub-pixel) and [0022]) having three emitted colors Fig.1 and 4 (10) (R-12/G-14/B-16)) are cyclically arranged (Fig.1 and 4 (10) and [0026]), and the backup light-emitting elements (Fig.1 and 4 (20) and [0039]) having three emitted colors are cyclically arranged (Fig.1 and 4 (10) and [0026]); and in the second direction (Fig.1 (D2) and [0024]), emitted colors of two adjacent light-emitting elements (R/B/G) of the plurality of light-emitting elements are the same (Fig.1- reds are adjacent/green/blue), wherein the first direction (Fig.1 (D1) and [0024]) intersects the second direction (Fig.1 (D2) and [0024]), and the two adjacent light-emitting elements (Fig.1- reds are adjacent/green/blue) in the second direction (Fig.1 (D2) and [0024] comprise two adjacent ones of the main light-emitting elements (Fig.1 and 4 (10) and [0026]) or comprise one of the backup light-emitting elements (Fig.1 and 4 (20) and [0039]) and one of the main light-emitting elements (Fig.1 and 4 (10) and [0026]). 17. (Original) The display panel according to claim 2, wherein each of the plurality of display units (LED/OLED- not shown; see [0027]) comprises six light-emitting elements [0026], the six light-emitting elements comprise two red light-emitting elements, two green light-emitting elements, and two blue light-emitting elements (Fig.1 and 4 (10) (R-12/G-14/B-16)) [0027- implicit], and sizes of the six light-emitting elements are the same (Fig.1 and 4 (10) (R-12/G-14/B-16)), wherein one light-emitting element or two light-emitting elements having different colors of the six light-emitting elements are backup light-emitting elements of the backup light-emitting elements (Fig. 1 and 4 (20) and [0027/0039]). 18. (Original) The display panel according to claim 17, wherein in the first direction (Fig.1 (D1) and [0024]) and the second direction (Fig.1 (D2) and [0024]), centers of light-emitting elements of the plurality of light-emitting elements (Fig.1 (10- main sub-pixel) and [0022]) are in a straight line (Fig.1 and Fig.4); or at least in one of the first direction (Fig.1 (D1) and [0024])or the second direction (Fig.1 (D2) and [0024]), a central connecting line of light-emitting elements of the plurality of light-emitting elements is polyline-shaped (Fig.1 and 4 (controller and [0038]), and the first direction intersects the second direction (Fig.1 (D1 and D2 will intersect as shown). 19. (Original) The display panel according to claim 1, wherein the plurality of light-emitting elements comprises organic light-emitting diodes, sub-millimeter light-emitting diodes, or micro light-emitting diodes [0031].
