DETAILED ACTION Notice of Pre-AIA or AIA Status The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA . Priority Receipt is acknowledged of papers submitted under 35 U.S.C. 119(a)-(d), which papers have been placed of record in the file. Election/Restrictions Claims 14-36 ae withdrawn from further consideration pursuant to 37 CFR 1.142(b) as being drawn to a nonelected invention. Clam 1 being a linking claim. Election was made without traverse in the reply filed on 03/31/2026 Specification The title of the invention is not descriptive. A new title is required that is clearly indicative of the invention to which the claims are directed. Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102 The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action: A person shall be entitled to a patent unless – (a)(2) the claimed invention was described in a patent issued under section 151, or in an application for patent published or deemed published under section 122(b), in which the patent or application, as the case may be, names another inventor and was effectively filed before the effective filing date of the claimed invention. Claims 1-3 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102 a2 as being anticipated by Gao e al. (US 20250098500 A1) (Ga, hereafter). Regarding Claim 1 Gao disclose (Figures 1-17 and corresponding text.)display device comprising: a display panel that provides source light (fig. #5, item LD1,2,3) (paragraph 0126); and a light control member (fig. #5, item 211) (paragraph 0126) disposed on the display panel, the light control member comprising: a plurality of light control parts,(fig. #5, items 22,23,CCP1,CCP2,CCP3 paragraphs 92-96) and a division pattern layer that divides the plurality of light control parts (fig. #5, item 21, 23) (paragraph 0079), wherein the division pattern layer comprises: a plurality of first barrier rib (fig. #7, item 31) portions extending in a first direction and spaced apart from each other by a first distance in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction (paragraph 0077, 0085 0092), wherein the plurality of light control parts (fig. #5, items 22,23,CCP1,CCP2,CCP3 paragraphs 92-96) are disposed between the plurality of first barrier rib portions; a plurality of second barrier rib portions (fig. #5, item 21, 23) extending in the second direction and spaced apart from each other in the first direction (paragraph 0085,), wherein the plurality of light control parts(fig. #5, items 22,23,CCP1,CCP2,CCP3 paragraphs 92-96) are disposed between the plurality of second barrier rib portions(fig. #5, item 21, 23); and a plurality of dam ( (fig. #5, item 212, light shielding member) portions spaced apart from each other in the second direction by a second distance greater than the first distance(Fig #5, plurality of first barrier rib (fig. #7, item 31 spaced apart from each other by a first distance D1=31C, a plurality of dam ( (fig. #5, item 212) portion spaced apart from each other in the second direction by a second distance D2=31c+width 211, paragraphs 95, 104). Regarding claim 2, Gao discloses wherein the plurality of light control parts comprise: a plurality of first light control parts that emit light of a first wavelength range ( fig #5, item CCP1 )and arranged in the first direction; and a plurality of second light control parts that emit light of a second wavelength range( fig #5, item CCP1 ), respectively spaced apart from the plurality of first light control parts in the second direction, and arranged in the first direction (paragraphs 80-85).. Regarding claim 3, Gao discloses wherein each of the plurality of dam portions (Fig #5 item 212) is disposed at an upper end portion or a lower end portion of each of the plurality of light control parts spaced apart from each other in the first direction, or disposed at a central portion of a length of each of the plurality of light control parts in the first direction. Allowable Subject Matter Claim 4 is objected to as being dependent upon a rejected base claim, but would be allowable if rewritten in independent form including all of the limitations of the base claim and any intervening claims. Claims 5-13 dues to their dependence upon claim 4. Conclusion The prior art made of record and not relied upon is considered pertinent to applicant's disclosure: US 20260006995 A1 -READS ON CLAIM 1 -FILED AFTER FEECTE DATE- a display panel is provided, including a driving backplane, a pixel layer, an encapsulation layer, and an optical path regulation layer. US 20250380602 A1—GENERAL STATE OF THE ART- A display apparatus includes a substrate, a light-emitting device and an auxiliary light-emitting device on the substrate, a light-receiving device on the substrate and including a first light-receiving device and a second light-receiving device, US 20230197763 A1-GEERAL STATE O THE ART- a display device including a structure (e.g., dam) capable of blocking overflowing of organic materials into undesired areas of the display device.
