Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 103
The following is a quotation of 35 U.S.C. 103 which forms the basis for all obviousness rejections set forth in this Office action:
A patent for a claimed invention may not be obtained, notwithstanding that the claimed invention is not identically disclosed as set forth in section 102, if the differences between the claimed invention and the prior art are such that the claimed invention as a whole would have been obvious before the effective filing date of the claimed invention to a person having ordinary skill in the art to which the claimed invention pertains. Patentability shall not be negated by the manner in which the invention was made.

Response to Arguments
Applicant's arguments filed on 07/02/2026 have been fully considered but they are not persuasive. Applicant correctly notes that Mou does not explicitly disclose the current applied to the piezoelectric as being an alternating current. However, it would have been obvious to one of ordinary skill in the art that Mou is utilizing an alternating current. Mou does not disclose a direct current used for the piezoelectric material. Furthermore, an alternating current would have been required to achieve a piezoelectric effect since the material responds to the change in current. DC would not produce the change in current the material needs.
Allowable Subject Matter
Claims 19-28 are allowed.
The following is a statement of reasons for the indication of allowable subject matter:
Claim 19 recites a display module, comprising:
a silicon-based micro light emitting diode display panel; and
a heat dissipation device, comprising:
a heat dissipation cavity provided on a back surface of the silicon-based micro light emitting diode display panel; and
an electro-deformation member disposed on a cavity bottom of the heat dissipation cavity,
wherein in a case that the electro-deformation member is powered on, the electro-deformation member deforms to avoid a channel through which an external environment is in communication with the heat dissipation cavity; and
wherein the electro-deformation member comprises:
a plurality of first deformation portions spaced apart from each other;
a plurality of second deformation portions, each of the plurality of second deformation portions is inserted between two adjacent ones of the plurality of first deformation portions or disposed on one side of one of the plurality of first deformation portions, wherein there is a gap between each of the plurality of first deformation portions and an adjacent one of the plurality of second deformation portions; and
a fixed portion disposed on a periphery of the plurality of first deformation portions and the plurality of second deformation portions and respectively connected to the plurality of first deformation portions and the plurality of second deformation portions.
Claim 24 recites a display module, comprising:
a silicon-based micro light emitting diode display panel; and
a heat dissipation device, comprising:
a heat dissipation cavity provided on a back surface of the silicon-based micro light emitting diode display panel; and
an electro-deformation member disposed on a cavity bottom of the heat dissipation cavity,
wherein in a case that the electro-deformation member is powered on, the electro-deformation member deforms to avoid a channel through which an external environment is in communication with the heat dissipation cavity;
wherein the electro-deformation member comprises a first electrode, a piezoelectric material layer, and a second electrode, and the piezoelectric material layer is disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode; and
wherein a length of an orthographic projection of the first electrode on the cavity bottom is equal to a length of an orthographic projection of the piezoelectric material layer on the cavity bottom and is equal to a length of an orthographic projection of the second electrode on the cavity bottom.
US PG Pub 2022/0203683 ("Mikoshiba"), US PG Pub 2021/0276330 ("Takabe"), US PG Pub 2020/0075839 ("Sooriakumar") and US PG Pub 2020/0053905 ("Ganti") are cited as being examples of other, relevant references in the art for comparison to Applicant's invention but do not disclose the limitations missing from Mou. The references of record do not disclose, or suggest, the use of multiple deformation portions which have the differing phases of alternating current applied in a manner as claimed by Applicant. Claims 20-23 and 25-28 depend on either Claim 19 or 24 and are allowable for at least the reasons above.
