Notice of Pre-AIA or AIA Status
The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA .
Election/Restrictions
Applicant’s election without traverse of claims 1-20 in the reply filed on 3/31/2026 is acknowledged.
Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102
The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action:
A person shall be entitled to a patent unless –
(a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention.
Claim(s) 1-2 is/are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(1) as being anticipated by Liu (CN 114551619 A-cited in prior art).
Regarding claim 1, Liu et al discloses A display panel(100), comprising: at least one photosensitive device, the at least one photosensitive device(70 ) including a switching element(701)(fig. 2 pp 14 para 2; pp 21 para 2)a first photosensitive element(60), and a second photosensitive element (60 of the plurality of photosensitive diode portions) pp. 14 para 2; wherein the display panel (100)further comprises: a substrate(10)(pp 10 para 3). ; a first conductive layer (304)disposed on the substrate (10)and including a first electrode(304) and a second electrode(304 of the plurality of the plurality of photosensitive diode portions 60)(pp. 12 para 1; pp. 14 para 2) connected to the first electrode (304); a photosensitive layer (302)disposed on one side of the first conductive layer (304)away from the substrate(10) and including a first photosensitive portion(302) corresponding to the first electrode(304) and a second photosensitive portion(302 of the plurality of the plurality of photosensitive diode portions 60) corresponding to the second electrode(304 of the plurality of the plurality of photosensitive diode portions 60) (para 2 pp26-27), wherein the first photosensitive portion (302 of fig. 2)and the second photosensitive portion(302 of the plurality of photosensitive devices(70)) (para 2 pp26-27)are disposed at intervals fig. 7, and the photosensitive layer(302) further includes a metal oxide semiconductor(para 2 pp26-27; pp 10 para 3); an insulating layer(301) disposed between the first conductive layer (304)and the photosensitive layer(302)(pp. 10 para 3; pp. 12 para 1);
a second conductive layer (303)disposed on one side of the photosensitive layer (302)away from the substrate (10)and including a first protection electrode(303) and a second protection electrode(303 of the plurality of the plurality of photosensitive diode portions 60)(para 1 pp12)wherein the first protection electrode(303) is electrically connected to the first photosensitive portion(60), and the second
protection electrode(303 of the plurality of the plurality of photosensitive diode portions 60) is electrically connected to the second photosensitive portion(302 of the plurality of photosensitive diode portions 60) pp. 14 para 2; and a third conductive layer (7014)disposed on one side of the second conductive layer (303)away from
the substrate(10) and including a source and a drain of the switching element(701), wherein the first protection electrode (303)and the second protection electrode (303 of the plurality of the plurality of photosensitive diode portions 60) are both electrically connected to the source or the drain of the switching element(701)(pp. 22 para 1);
wherein the first photosensitive element (60)includes the first electrode(304), the first photosensitive portion(302), and the first protection electrode(303), and the second photosensitive element (60 of the plurality of photosensitive diode portions) includes the second electrode(304 of the plurality of photosensitive diode portions(60)), the second photosensitive portion(302 of the plurality of photosensitive diode portions(60)), and the second protective electrode(303 of the plurality of photosensitive diode portions(60)) fig. 2/fig. 7.
Regarding claim 2, Liu et al discloses further comprising: a first active layer (20)disposed between the substrate(10) and the first conductive layer(304) and including a first active portion(20) of the switching element(701), wherein the source and the drain of the switching element are electrically connected to the first active portion(20), respectively (pp. 22 para 1) fig. 2.
Allowable Subject Matter
Claims 3-12 are objected to as being dependent upon a rejected base claim, but would be allowable if rewritten in independent form including all of the limitations of the base claim and any intervening claims.
Claims 13-20 are allowed.
The following is a statement of reasons for the indication of allowable subject matter: the limitations of claim 13 including: wherein a plurality of intersecting regions are formed between the plurality of rows of light emitting units and the plurality of columns of light emitting units, and each of the intersecting regions is provided with at most one first photosensitive element or one second photosensitive elements was not found in prior art.
