DETAILED ACTION
This application, 18/416151, attorney docket AD9667-US, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA . This application is assigned to LG ELECTRONICS INC.. and is a National Stage entry of PCT/KR2022/019935, which claims foreign priority to 10-2021-0175097, filed 12/08/2021 and to 10-2022-0170239, filed 12/08/2022 Claims 1-20 are pending and are considered below.
Claim Objections
Claim 13 is objected to because of the following informalities: The claim ends with a semicolon. Appropriate correction is required.
Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 112
Claim 1 recites, “transferring a semiconductor light emitting device for pixel” this sentence fragment is unclear. It appears to lack antecedent for a pixel. It is not clear if the substrate receives the LED or contributes the LED to another substrate.
Claim 1 recites “into which a predetermined semiconductor light emitting device is assembled" It is not clear if a light emitting device is claimed or just the assembly hole.
Claim 2 and 14 recite, “far from the substrate” The term “far from” is a relative term which renders the claim indefinite. The term “far from” is not defined by the claim, the specification does not provide a standard for ascertaining the requisite degree, and one of ordinary skill in the art would not be reasonably apprised of the scope of the invention.
Claim 2 and 14 recite, “depending on the height from the substrate.” It is not clear how this limits the device.
Claim 13 recites, “a substrate structure for transferring a pixel semiconductor light emitting device of claim 1.” It is unclear what element the substrate structure is.
Allowable Subject Matter
Claims 1-20 would be allowable if rewritten or amended to overcome the rejection(s) under 35 U.S.C. 112(b) or 35 U.S.C. 112 (pre-AIA ), 2nd paragraph, set forth in this Office action.
The following is a statement of reasons for the indication of allowable subject matter:
As for claim 1, The prior art does not teach or make obvious a substrate structure for receiving a semiconductor light emitting device that includes a plurality of assembly wirings and a partition wall disposed with an LED receiving hole, wherein the partition wall comprises a porous structure.
Claims 2-20 depend on claim 1 and include the same novel features.
Conclusion
The prior art made of record and not relied upon is considered pertinent to applicant's disclosure. U.S> 2007/0249140 to Dross teaches using a porous layer to reduce stress bending, but the prior art does not teach using a porous layer an LED display substrate that has LED receiving holes.
