Rejections 35 U.S.C. § 102(a)(1)
1. The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action:
A person shall be entitled to a patent unless –
(a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention.
Claims 1 and 11 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(1) as being anticipated by U.S. Patent Publication (2021/0030244) to Won et al.
Regarding independent claim 1, Won et al. discloses a self-cleaning dust collection seat body (120), wherein the self-cleaning dust collection seat body (120) comprises a dust collection chamber (152) and a dust collection hood (150) with that the dust collection chamber (See FIG. 3-the space receiving the bin (124)), with an opening facing upward and forward (See FIG. 3), is arranged at a top end of the self-cleaning dust collection seat body (100) (See paragraph [0054]);
the dust collection hood (150) is detachably buckled on the dust collection chamber (152) to form a dust collection bin for accommodating a garbage receiving device; and wherein at least a part of an outer surface of the dust collection hood (150) is used as a part of an exterior surface of the self-cleaning dust collection seat (100) (See paragraph [0055] and FIG. 3).
Regarding claim 11, Won et al. discloses an automatic cleaning device (10) and
self-cleaning dust collection seat body (120), wherein the self-cleaning dust collection seat body (120) comprises a dust collection chamber (152) and a dust collection hood (150) with that the dust collection chamber (See FIG. 3-the space receiving the bin (124)), with an opening facing upward and forward (See FIG. 3), is arranged at a top end of the self-cleaning dust collection seat body (100) (See paragraph [0054]);
the dust collection hood (150) is detachably buckled on the dust collection chamber (152) to form a dust collection bin for accommodating a garbage receiving device (capable of receiving a garbage device); and wherein at least a part of an outer surface of the dust collection hood (150) is used as a part of an exterior surface of the self-cleaning dust collection seat (100) (See paragraph [0055] and FIG. 3).
Allowable Subject Matter
2. Claims 2-10 and 12-20 are objected to as being dependent upon a rejected base claim, but would be allowable if rewritten in independent form including all of the limitations of the base claim and any intervening claims.
