Objections to the Specification
1. The disclosure is objected to because of the following informalities: discloses [006] Patent document US2013081652 should be --U.S. Patent Publication 20130815662—and in paragraph [007] US201932168 should be—U.S. Patent Publication 2019321868--.
Appropriate correction is required.
Rejections 35 U.S.C. § 112
2. The following is a quotation of 35 U.S.C. 112(b):
(b) CONCLUSION.—The specification shall conclude with one or more claims particularly pointing out and distinctly claiming the subject matter which the inventor or a joint inventor regards as the invention.
The following is a quotation of 35 U.S.C. 112 (pre-AIA ), second paragraph:
The specification shall conclude with one or more claims particularly pointing out and distinctly claiming the subject matter which the applicant regards as his invention.
Independent claim 1 recites the limitation "the facade" in line 3. There is insufficient antecedent basis for this limitation in the claim.
Claim 12 recites the limitation "the ventilator" in line 3. There is insufficient antecedent basis for this limitation in the claim.
Claims 10-16 are rejected for their dependency on claim 1.
Allowable Subject Matter
3. Independent claim 9 would be allowable if rewritten or amended to overcome the rejections under 35 U.S.C. 112(b) or 35 U.S.C. 112 (pre-AIA ), 2nd paragraph, set forth in this Office action.
The closest prior art of record is U.S. Patent (7,823,242) to Gorman (cited by Applicant). Gorman discloses a façade cleaning apparatus (1) including a master frame (5) and vertical bars (15). Additionally, Gorman discloses window glaze brush as shown in FIG. 15 of Gorman (See Col. 6 lines 55-70). However, Gorman is silent regarding “at least two cleaning brushes; an electrical motor; one or more spray nozzles; a fairing …; a central sheet; and side sheets comprising skis for protecting the façade…. with the cleaning brushes containing internal rollers positioned between the skis, and external rollers on the outside of the skis”, as required in independent claim 9.
