Election/Restrictions
Claims 10-20 are withdrawn from further consideration pursuant to 37 CFR 1.142(b) as being drawn to a nonelected invention, there being no allowable generic or linking claim. Election was made without traverse in the reply filed on 6/23/26.
Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102
The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action:
A person shall be entitled to a patent unless –
(a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention.
Claim(s) 1-3 is/are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(1) as being anticipated by Wu (US 9,004,535).
In re claim 1, Wu teaches a platform, wherein the platform includes: a front area (20) including two front wheel wells (fig. 4) connected by at least one front straight frame extrusion (22); a rear area (30) including two rear wheel wells (fig. 4) connected by at least one rear straight frame extrusion (32); and right and left straight frame extrusions (111) that connect the front area of the platform to the rear area of the platform.
In re claim 2, Wu teaches a first front straight frame extrusion (22) that connects a top portion of a right front wheel well to a top portion of a left front wheel well; and a second front straight frame extrusion (32) that connects a lower portion of the right front wheel well to a lower portion of the left front wheel well.
In re claim 3, Wu teaches the front area includes a third front straight frame extrusion (112) that connects a front portion of the right straight frame extrusion to a front portion of the left straight frame extrusion (fig. 4).
Allowable Subject Matter
Claims 4-9 are objected to as being dependent upon a rejected base claim, but would be allowable if rewritten in independent form including all of the limitations of the base claim and any intervening claims.
