Applicant’s response with respect to 112(b) rejections of claims 1, 2 have been fully considered and are persuasive. The rejections are withdrawn.

Response to Arguments
Applicant's arguments with respect to 35 USC § 101 rejections of claims 1-3, 5-13, and 15-20 have been fully considered but they are not persuasive. Applicant made the following arguments:
Regarding claims 1-3, 5-13, and 15-20, Applicant argues “amended claim 1 is not directed to an abstract idea of mental processes, because the claimed method integrates the alleged judicial exception into a practical application and provides an improvement in the technical field of computer technology”.
Examiner respectfully disagrees. Claim 1 recites selecting a first subset of search results based at least in part on the match score associated with each search result of the set of search results; selecting a second subset of search results from the set of search results, wherein the second subset of search results comprises only search results not included in the first subset of search results, wherein the second subset of search results is selected independent of the match score; accessing one or more page features corresponding to the pages in the first subset of search results, wherein the one or more page features comprise the page title and at least one of: page edit date, page comment date, page creation date, page views, page authority score, or page verification status; determining, by the ranking model, a ranked ordering of search results in the first subset of search results by determining a similarity between the search query and the page title of each page associated with the first subset of search results; ordering the pages associated with the first subset of search results based on the determined ranking; determining an insertion position within the ranked ordering for inserting an additional result; selecting the additional result from the second subset of search results. The limitations of selecting…, accessing…, determining…, ordering…, as drafted, are processes that, under its broadest reasonable interpretation, covers performance of the limitation in the mind but for the recitation of generic computer components. That is, other than reciting “method…,” nothing in the claim element precludes the step from practically being performed in the mind. Furthermore, Examiner points that improvement cannot be part of the abstract idea itself. Therefore, Applicant’s arguments are not persuasive.

The claims 3 and 13 recite accessing a set of search results from a search engine, wherein each search result of the set of search results comprises a page identifier that identifies a page corresponding to a search result of the set of search results; selecting a subset of search results from the set of search results, wherein each page is a parent block including one or more child blocks, wherein the parent block and the one or more child blocks for each page are stored at a server associated with the hierarchically organized workspace, wherein each block has a set of attributes associated with features, and wherein the one or more child blocks includes a title block associated with an attribute associated with page title; selecting a subset of search results from the set of search results; accessing one or more page features corresponding to the pages identified in the subset of search results, wherein the one or more page features comprise the page title and at least one of: page edit date, page comment date, page creation date, page views, page authority score, or page verification status; ordering the pages associated with the subset of search results based on the determined ranking. Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 103
In the event the determination of the status of the application as subject to AIA 35 U.S.C. 102 and 103 (or as subject to pre-AIA 35 U.S.C. 102 and 103) is incorrect, any correction of the statutory basis for the rejection will not be considered a new ground of rejection if the prior art relied upon, and the rationale supporting the rejection, would be the same under either status.
The following is a quotation of 35 U.S.C. 103 which forms the basis for all obviousness rejections set forth in this Office action:
A patent for a claimed invention may not be obtained, notwithstanding that the claimed invention is not identically disclosed as set forth in section 102 of this title, if the differences between the claimed invention and the prior art are such that the claimed invention as a whole would have been obvious before the effective filing date of the claimed invention to a person having ordinary skill in the art to which the claimed invention pertains. Claims 1, 2 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 103 as being unpatentable over Upstill et al. (U.S. Pub 2019/0155948; hereinafter “Upstill”) in view of Jain et al. (U.S. PGPub 2007/0162448; hereinafter “Jain”).

However, Upstill fails to disclose search result ranking for searches in a hierarchically organized workspaces; wherein each page is a parent block including one or more child blocks, wherein the parent block and the one or more child blocks for each page are stored at a server associated with the hierarchically organized workspace, wherein each block has a set of attributes associated with features, and wherein the one or more child blocks includes a title block associated with an attribute associated with page title; generating, based at least in part on the search string, a search query for a search engine; determining, by the ranking model, a ranked ordering of search results in the first subset of search results by determining a similarity between the search query and the page title of each page associated with the first subset of search results; ordering the pages associated with the first subset of search results based on the determined ranking.

As per claims 11 and 20, the combination of Upstill, Jain, and Shacham discloses wherein the additional search result is selected independent of a match score indicating a relevance of the additional search result. The resources are ranked according to a first order of responsiveness to the received query. As per claim 12, the combination of Upstill, Jain, and Shacham discloses wherein modifying the rank-ordered set of search results comprises adding the page associated with the user, wherein the page associated with the user comprises at least one of: a page edited by the user, a page created by the user, a page created by another user in a same team as the user, a page edited by another user in the same team as the user, a page created by another user in a same role as the user, or a page edited by another user in the same role as the user. (See Fig. 1, paras. 24-26, 28, wherein resource provided by publisher in which “website 104 includes one or more resources 105 associated with a domain name and hosted by one or more servers. An example website is a collection of web pages formatted in hypertext markup language (HTML) that can contain text, images, multimedia content, and programming elements, such as scripts.
