DETAILED ACTION Notice of Pre-AIA or AIA Status The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA . Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102 (a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention. Claims 1 – 5 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(1) as being anticipated by Sakata (JP 2022055061). Regarding claim 1, in Figures 2 – 3, Sakata discloses a wire harness assembly comprising: a wire harness (110) including an electric wire (111) and a connector (the edge portion of 130b; the wires 111 are connected to the circuit board 72 inside of the cover 120; pg. 4, 3rd paragraph, Figure 2) electrically connected to an end of the electric wire; and an assembly member (100, Figure 3) in which the wire harness is arranged, wherein the assembly member includes: a body (130a, Figures 2 – 3) in which the electric wire is arranged; and an extension (130b) in which the connector is arranged, the extension being formed as a single member continuous with the body (Figure 3). Regarding claim 2, Sakata discloses wherein the connector comprises a plurality of connectors, and the extension is provided to correspond to each of the plurality of connectors (Figures 2 – 3). Regarding claim 3, Sakata discloses wherein the assembly member includes: a base; and a cover attached to the base (Figures 2 – 3). Regarding claim 4, Sakata discloses wherein the cover includes a dividing portion configured to divide the cover to expose the connector when the cover is peeled off from the base (Figures 2 – 3). Regarding claim 5, Sakata discloses wherein the cover includes a grip protruding from an outer edge of the base (Figures 2 – 3).
