CTNF 19/145,796 CTNF 90962 DETAILED ACTION Notice of Pre-AIA or AIA Status 07-03-aia AIA 15-10-aia The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA. Priority 02-26 AIA Receipt is acknowledged of certified copies of papers required by 37 CFR 1.55. Information Disclosure Statement 06-52 The information disclosure statement (IDS) submitted on 07/03/2025 the submission is in compliance with the provisions of 37 CFR 1.97. Accordingly, the information disclosure statement is being considered by the examiner. Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102 07-07-aia AIA 07-07 The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action: A person shall be entitled to a patent unless – 07-08-aia AIA (a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention. 07-12-aia AIA (a)(2) the claimed invention was described in a patent issued under section 151, or in an application for patent published or deemed published under section 122(b), in which the patent or application, as the case may be, names another inventor and was effectively filed before the effective filing date of the claimed invention. 07-15 AIA Claim s 1-2 and 4 are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102( a)(1 ) as being participated by Ichikawa (US 2016/0311337) . Regarding claim 1 , Ichikawa teaches a wireless power transfer system (see figures 1-2 and 9) that performs wireless power transfer by magnetic coupling between a supply device (fig. 1@ charging station 90) on a ground side (see par. [0053], power transmission devices are provided on or in the ground) and a vehicle (fig. 1@ vehicle 10) in motion (see figure 2), the wireless power transfer system comprising: a control device (fig. 1@ 500) that controls the wireless power transfer from a power transmission unit (fig. 1@ transmission unit 700A) of the supply device (90) to a power reception unit (fig. 1@ power reception unit 100) of the vehicle (10) (see par. [0043-0045] and [0100]), wherein the control device sets a time of Alignment check (see figure 9: from time t1 to t4) to be longer than a time of Pairing (see figure 9: from time t4 to t5). Regarding claim 2 , Ichikawa teaches wherein the control device determines that it is Alignment loss in a case of determining that the vehicle is displaced in a lateral direction to such an extent that an amount of lateral positional displacement of the vehicle cannot be detected (see figure 2: a vehicle is being parked at a parking position within a charging station includes sensors 21A to 21C detect whether or not there is a vehicle stopping inside parking sections ; par. [0034-0045]), and remains in a state of Alignment check when determining that it is the Alignment loss and an elapsed time is equal to or shorter than a first predetermined time (see figures 8 and 9). Regarding claim 4 , Ichikawa teaches wherein the control device does not correct a traveling position while remaining in the state of the Alignment check (see par. [0034-0045]; a charging station includes sensors detect whether or not there is a vehicle stopping inside parking sections and vehicle ECU performs pairing processing for causing charging station to identify with which of power transmission units power reception unit is aligned, between vehicle ECU and charging station) . Allowable Subject Matter 12-151-08 AIA 07-43 12-51-08 Claim s 3 and 5 objected to as being dependent upon a rejected base claim, but would be allowable if rewritten in independent form including all of the limitations of the base claim and any intervening claims.
