Notice of Pre-AIA or AIA Status The present application, filed on or after March 16, 2013, is being examined under the first inventor to file provisions of the AIA . Claim Rejections - 35 USC § 102 The following is a quotation of the appropriate paragraphs of 35 U.S.C. 102 that form the basis for the rejections under this section made in this Office action: A person shall be entitled to a patent unless – (a)(1) the claimed invention was patented, described in a printed publication, or in public use, on sale, or otherwise available to the public before the effective filing date of the claimed invention. Claim(s) 1, 5-12, and 18-20 is/are rejected under 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(1) as being anticipated by Hamilton (US 10,309,749), and provided by applicant. Hamilton discloses a turret having screw defining an axis, the turret comprising: a cam pin chassis (Fig 4) having a central bore and securing a cam pin (130), wherein the screw extends through the central bore, the cam pin extends from the chassis parallel with the axis, and the cam pin is linearly moveable within the cam pin chassis; a stop ring (Fig 5B) having a central bore, a first surface, and a second surface comprising a spiral groove terminating at first and second stop surfaces, wherein the screw extends through the central bore and the cam pin engages the spiral groove; and a turret cap having a central bore, wherein the screw extends through the central bore such that the turret cap, stop ring, and cam pin chassis have a common rotational axis; wherein a rotational limit of the turret is defined by one of the first and second stop surfaces of the stop ring. Allowable Subject Matter Claims 2-4 and 13-17 objected to as being dependent upon a rejected base claim, but would be allowable if rewritten in independent form including all of the limitations of the base claim and any intervening claims.
